A JAVANESE KRIS DAGGER WITH RAW CUT DIAMONDS
A characteristic form blade with seven curves, on both sides of the blade, is a gilt figure of a serpent. Cattle-bone carved hilt. A typical wooden sheath brass chased blewah. The medak is of silver set with raw-cut diamonds and red gemstones (rubies?).
Dimensions: L: 19 in, (48.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, wrangka has been restored
