AN ART DECO WATROUS FOR INTERNATIONAL STERLING SILVER FLASK
Watrous for International Sterling, sterling silver flask from the early 20th century and in Art Deco style, with an elegant, geometric design.
It measures 7 1/4'' in height by 4 1/3'' in width by 2/3'' in depth, contains 3/4 of a pint, weighs 7.4 troy ounces (230 grams), and bears hallmarks and a monogram as shown.
Footnote: Watrous was a silversmith founded in 1896 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Some of its pieces are in museum collections, including the Yale University Art Gallery.
