A FINE JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN PLATE WITH A CAT, 19TH CEN.
Japanese Imari porcelain charger with a high relief depiction of a cat in the center. Decorated with delicate flowers on the verso. Features a restoration in kintsugi technique.
Has. an old paper label to the verso with a number.

Condition: Plate shows an old spot of restoration performed with the Japanese kintusgi technique in which a crack is highlighted with gold as opposed to the European method of attempting to hide the supposed imperfection.
