A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN JUG BY THE POPOV MANUFACTORY, 19TH CEN.
A porcelain jug by the Popov Porcelain Manufactory with a white slanted body on a blue gilt scallop-form base, the body also being painted with floral sprays, the handle modeled as a piece of branching coral, and the rim decorated with gilt scrolling foliage. Marked on the underside of the base with an underglaze blue maker's mark.
