The satirical weekly Le Sifflet, which was published in France from 1898 to 1899, used caricature as a means of social critique. The first issue, from February 17, 1898 (and many other issues) deals with the Dreyfus Affair. 39 cm. Fair condition (creases, tears, detached leaves, damaged and detached binding).
