עיזים, שמן על בד, 100x110 ס"מ, חתום ומתוארך( תארוך לא ברור), עבודה איכותית. ערן שקין, ישראלי, נולד ב-1962. לאחר שרותו הצבאי התגורר כחצי שנה בדיסלדורף, גרמניה. בין השנים 1993-1987 שהה בניו יורק, ארצות-הברית. באותה עת שימש כאסיסטנט של האמן קארל אפל וכן עיצב תפאורות לסרטי פרסומת. רעיתו היא השחקנית מאיה קדישמן, ביתו של מנשה קדישמן. חי ופועל בתל אביב-יפו. יצירתו של ערן שקין נעה בין ציור לפיסול. עבודותיו המוקדמות של שקין, משנות ה-90 של המאה ה-20, כללו ציור של מוטיבים כגון עיזים ובעלי חיים אחרים, שצוירו בסגנון אקספרסיבי, תוך הדגשת חומריות הציור. במקביל יצר שקין שדרה של פסלי ברונזה ובהן התייחסות לאדריכלות וארכיאולוגיה. ביצירותיו מן העשור השני של המאה ה-21, בולטת השפעה של אמנות הפופ ארט בדימויים ובסגנון היצירה
