On the title page is the stamp of the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Moshe son of Yechiel Meir Lifshitz of Gostynin, the son of "HaYehudi HaTov MiGostynin". Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Lifshitz of Pruszkow, student of the Rebbes Rabbi Mendel "the Saraf" of Kotzk, "Chiddushei HaRim" and Rabbi Avraham of Ciechanow. Rebbe of Pruszkow from 1892 (when his father died) until his death at a ripe old age, in August 1918.
Ancient Ashkenazi signatures: "Yehoshua ben Mordechai Berger".

Enclosed:
Iggeret Teshuvat Rambam. [Lemberg], 1857. Handwritten inscription: "Belongs to Yehuda Leib Auerbach". Inscription: "This book belongs to MHH"R [?] Avraham Abba ben [Yisrael] Asher Livshitz".
