I Want to Live – Leaflet issued by the "American League for a Free Palestine" – USA
I Want to Live, leaflet issued by the American League for a Free Palestine. [USA, ca. 1945]. English.
A leaflet calling to donate money to the Palestine Freedom Drive of the "American League for a Free Palestine" - an organization founded in 1944 by Hillel Kook calling to "liberate" Palestine and establish an independent Jewish State.
On the front appears an illustration of a man kneeling on his knees and the inscription: "I Want to Live / The Submissive Jewish Agency Way". When the lower part of the leaflet is opened, a different illustration is revealed - a soldier holding a weapon and the inscription "I Want to Live / The Fighting Hebrew Resistance Way".
Leaf: 11X40 cm, folded. Good condition. Some stains. Some tears at margins and at folding mark.
