Photograph Collection – The Tel-Aviv Port and its Establishment, 1930s
18 photographs of the Tel-Aviv Port, some of them dated — 1936. 12 are signed in pen on the front and tamped on the back “Photo Tila”; panoramic photo by Zoltan Kluger signed on the back with a stamp; five are not signed, but include a printed description of the photograph: “Building of the Boat Port in Tel-Aviv…” and dated — December 1936; single page, official stationery of the Tel Aviv Committee for the Port and transport, with the secretary’s signature.
Photographs of cranes, various buildings, boats and ships in the port, some of them depicting building parts of the port.
Twelve – 12.5x17.5 cm. Panorama – 10.5x39.5cm, five – 17x21 cm.
Good condition. Some are slightly faded and not straight.
