Shana Tova Greeting in Shape of Miniature Torah Scroll
Shana Tova greeting rolled onto two miniature rods, covered by mantle such as that of a Torah scroll. Europe, probably late 19th century. Printed on parchment-like paper. Includes Ten Commandments, avinu malkeinu prayer, BeRosh HaShana Yikateivun prayer, Tashlich, and Kiddush. The end bears an unclear inscription in Latin letters, followed by the signature "Morritz Yosef".
Unique and interesting item.
Miniature. Paper is 8.5 cm.
Several tears, not causing omission to text.
