Protocol of a Rabbinical Gathering Opposing Agudat Yisrael Led by the Admor of Munkacs. RARE!
Testimony and a protocol from a rabbinical gathering in Csap regarding the prohibition against joining the Agudat Yisrael movement, along with the speech that Admor Chaim Elazar of Munkacs delivered at the event. Munkacs by Ahron Ber Meisels. [1922].
Protocol; primarily the strong speech delivered by the Admor of Munkacs, with a description of the exchange of letters between the Admorim of Munkacs and Gur. With the final decision that it was forbidden to join Agudat Yisrael and the election of a rabbinical commission to support the Kupat Rabbi Meir Ba'al Haness โ the charity fund that was operated by "kosher" batei din. The Admor of Munkacs and Admor Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar - then serving as rabbi in Irshava โ were chosen to lead the commission. *Tears
