Rabbi Aharon Rata, autograph and dedication on his book 'Teharat HaKodesh'.
Admor Aharon Roth (1894-1947) was born in Ungvar and studied in the Weitzen yeshiva. He later was drawn to chassidut and studied under the Admors of Koson, Belz, Vishnitz, and others - but primarily by Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Shapiro of Bluzhov [Blażowa] who encouraged him to serve as Admor. He organized learning groups in Satmar and then in Beregszász and Eretz Yisrael, which focused on a lifestyle conforming to guidelines that primarily related to issues of purity and enthusiastic prayer. In Jerusalem he established the "Shomrei Emunim" society which later became a chassidic court.
