***Auction Highlight*** 1880-cc TOP POP! Gold Liberty Eagle $10 Graded ms62 By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT of the NIGHT - Up for Auction is a significant Rarity, the 1880-cc Carson City $10 Liberty in Uncirculated Condition, TOP POP! None Finer. This Carson City issue has a relatively healthy mintage (11,190 coins) and survivorship compared to many other dates from this mint and others in the Liberty Head series, though it is by no means plentiful. While the 1880-CC can usually be found in VF through AU grades (average certified assessment is between XF45 and AU50), Mint State representatives are extremely rare. This is one of only three coins certified at this level (2 by NGC and 1 by SEGS), and there are none finer. Bright mint luster radiates over this top Condition Census example. Both sides show distinct semiprooflikeness in the fields and the strongly defined relief elements are delicately frosted, especially the central obverse. Spindly die cracks encircle the reverse. Minimally marked. The last 80-cc to come to auction in February of 2018 realized $90,000. I have included a picture of that coin. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
