The 2006-PD Mint Set is highly collectible as it was the last year that Mint Sets featured Mylar® packaging to contain the coins. Beginning in 2007, the U.S. Mint packaged annual Mint Sets in two "blister pack" folders, rather than using Mylar packages within envelopes. Each envelope contains one mylar pack with 5 State Quarters and a second pack with 1 Penny, 1 Nickel, 1 Dime, 1 Half Dollar, and 1 Dollar Coin
