The Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov Leiser of Prshevorsk (1907-1996) lived in Antwerp, Belgium and started leading the community after the death of his father-in-law, the Rebbe Rabbi Itzikel Gvirtzman of Prshevorsk. He was known as a great Torah and Halacha scholar and as most knowledgeable in Hassidic books. His son rabbi Leibush replaced him as Rebbe.
