Collection of 7 Photographs – The Battle over Palestine in WWI
Seven Photos depicting the battle over Palestine during World War 1 (1914-1918). Unknown photographer. Some of the photos are described in pencil on the back, including: “Allenby taking Jerusalem” & “Official ceremony re-takeover of Jerusalem by Allenby”. The photos are numbered at the bottom and on the back.
Dimensions: approximately 17X12 cm. Good condition, stains, creases, wear, residues of glue and paper on the back of the photos, apparently as a result of removing them from an album, writing in pencil at the bottom of the photos and on their back.
