After Picasso, Offset Color Lithographs on Paper
Two offset lithographs on paper from Picasso's Guernica limited edition published by Harry N. Abrams in 1990. These sketches are part of 42 studies on paper based on Picasso's preliminary studies for the painting Guernica that depicts abstractions of the atrocities caused by the German Nazis during the Spanish Civil War. These two lithographs are numbers 42 and 43 that include the Weeping Head and a dead civilian. Dates in the plates: 3 Juin 1937. Housed in a silver brush frame with a mauve color mat. Sight sizes: 11"L x 9"H. Frame size: 21"L x 30"H x 2"W. Certificate of Authenticity included.
