TWO SOUTH AMERICAN POTTERY ITEMS. A Pre Columbian Ecuadorian type 'rattle' pot in the form of three human figures holding a globular pot carved with geometric patterns; Together with a Stirrup pot carved to the body with a marine animal, probably a manta ray. Similar examples are known from Museo Larco in Lima, Peru described as Moche culture (100 to 800 AD). 17.5cm and 22cm tall. (2)
Some noticeable plant growth to interior of rattle pot. The figures have some repair to the waist section with no visible signs of repair. The stirrup pot with probable repair to top of handle with slight shallow chip in handle.
