Two religious picture plates
circa 1900, unmarked, rectangular porcelain plates with rounded corners and edges as well as polychrome painting over a line foredrawing and once decorated with gold, depiction of the young John the Baptist with sheep after a painting by Bartholomé Estéban Murillo c. 1665 resp. Apostle Paul with book and sword, the smaller one framed in wooden moulding, colour of both plates somewhat rubbed, dimensions plate 15.5 x 10 cm and 18.5 x 12.5 cm.
