Tröger" lower right, minor tears and some creasing in margins, slightly brown-stained and yellowed, a few smaller holes (probably from drawing pins), sheet dimensions c. 64 x 50 cm. Artist's info: German graphic artist, painter of landscapes and still lifes (1898 Langenhessen - 1974 Werdau), first apprenticeship as a painter, mostly self-taught, war service in World War I, after 1918 working as a decorative painter, from 1927 exhibitions in Zwickau, Berlin and Dresden, from 1936 freelance in Werdau, 1938 trip to Italy, 1943-46 war service in World War II and war captivity in Oldenburg.
