Group of hunters on horseback and numerous hounds, in a slightly hilly landscape on the hunt, partly washed ink drawing on laid paper with watermark, circa 1700, inscribed in pen on the reverse of the sheet "96 - Dirk Maas -", inscribed in typescript on the reverse of the frame ""Hunting Scene" Dirk Maas-1656-1717-Dutch-Harlem H. 6" W. 7 1/2", Pen & Wash.", browned and somewhat faded, framed under mount and behind glass, mount approx. 15.5 x 19 cm. Artist info: also Dirck or Dirk Maes or Théodore Maes or Maas, Dutch painter and etcher.
