Darstellung des spärlich in ein Fellgewand gehüllten jüdischen Bußpredigers und Täufers Jesu mit Kreuzstab am Bach in Waldlandschaft, die rechte Hand des Johannes weist auf ein Lamm, welches für den Gottessohn Jesus steht, pastose, religiöse Genremalerei, Öl auf alter Weichholzplatte, 18./19. Jh., unsigniert, Malgrund etwas verzogen und holzwurmstichig, alte Retuschen, etwas restaurierungsbedürftig, im Goldstuckrahmen gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 25,5 x 3,5 cm.
