Imposing rugged, summery high mountain landscape with shepherds in front of a farmhouse by a mountain stream, glazed landscape painting, oil on canvas, 2nd half 19th cent, signed "Ad. de Coursy" (lower right), on the reverse a piece of wood applied to the modern stretcher, here partly illegible French annotation "Vue prise dans les montagnes de la Grande Chartreuse [engl.: Blick auf die Berge der Grande Chartreuse]", craquelure, wax doubling, restored, framed in old gilt stucco moulding (rest.bed.) with brass frame label with unverified attribution "Alexandre F.
