Rabbeinu's great book with his clear psakim.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Ayash (1705-1761] one of the leading Poskim of Spain, who approbated the holy Or HaChaim (this book contains a correspondence with the Or HaChaim).
At the age of 18 was appointed Dayan and More Hora'ah in Algeria. After the passing of his Rav Rabbi Raphael Yedidya Shlomo Tzrur of Algeria in 1738, he was appointed Av Beit Din and Rosh Yeshiva. He lived in Algeria for 28 years and there he authored and printed his books. In 1756, he left Algeria and passing through Livorno, where he met with Maran the Chida, arrived in Jerusalem in 1758. There he succeeded the Or HaChaim as Rosh Yeshiva of Knesset Yisrael. After four years in Jerusalem, he passed away.
Was revered by leading rabbis who wrote of him including Rabbi Yonason Eibeschutz and the Maharit Algazi.
Some wear to the edges. Some stains and minor taping.
Very good condition.
