The first Machzor that was printed in Eretz Yisrael - complete set. Mo'adeu Hashem VeKri'ei Moed - Jerusalem, 1843-1844. Printed by Rabbi Yisrael Bak. 

Prayers for Shalosh Regalim with Kri'ei Moed, the readings for Shvi'i shel Pesach and Shavu'ot, Passover Haggadah with Kavanot HaRashash, prayers by the Chida and more important additions. 

The first Machzor that was printed in Eretz Yisrael in general and Jerusalem in particular. 

The importance of this Machzor derives, among others, from it being the first Machzor that was printed in Eretz Yisrael in general and Jerusalem in particular. Edited by the Chassid printer Rabbi Yisrael Bak (born in 1797 in Berditchev to Rabbi Avraham Bak who was a Ba'al Koreg at the Beis Midrash of the holy Rav Rabbi Levi Yitzchak the author of the Kedushat Levi (there are theories that the name "Bak" is the initials of Ba'al Koreh). At the beginning of the book, his historical foreword describing the destruction of his printery in Safed and Montefiore's help in rebuilding it in Jerusalem. At the end of the foreword, poems in honor of Sir Montefiore.

Fine complete leaves. Some moth perforations, on the text too. Good-very good overall condition. 

Section II (1843) [2], 5-16, 21-108, 77 leaves. The two last leaves were completed with a professional photocopy. This section has many stains and moth. Fair-good condition.
