4 pages of a sermon on the Sugya if Deho'il delivered by the Maharam Esh on Shabbat Hagadol of 1832 to the Yarmuth community, written by his disciple Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Adler of Hovesh.

The Chidushim, based on this manuscript, were printed in KOvetz Olat Chodesh and in IMrei Esh Hachadashot which was published in 2006.

In addition to the Chidushei Torah - appearing here is the signature of the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Deutsch who was a disciple of the Chasam Sofer

Rabbi Meir Eisenstadt, known as the Maharam Esh after his book, was one of the first disciples of the Chasam Sofer in his yeshiva in Mattersdorf and kater in Pressburg and is considered one of his leading disciples. Served as Rav of several communities, the largest of them being Ungvar, where he also headed a yeshiva.

In 1832, when he was Rav of Yarmuth, he delivered this sermon.

Rabbi Shimon ben Rabbi Avraham Aharon Deutsch, the brother-in-law of Rabbi Aharon Dabid Deutsch author of Goren David, was one of the first disciples of the Chasam Sofer who immigrated to Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Shimon signed his name at the end of the sermon: "ה"ק שמעון בהרב מוהרא"א דייטש"
