Fascinating Letter, Written on Both Sides, by Rabbi Dov Yitzchak Rabinowitz Av Beit Din of Piatra Neamţ and Rabbi Avraham Moshe Babad Av Beit Din of Gura Humora - 1946

Halachic response pertaining to Heiter Meah Rabbanim, by Rabbi Avraham Moshe Babad and Rabbi Dov Yitzchak Rabinowitz Av Beit Din of Piatra Neamţ - 1946, a year after the Holocaust.

On one side of the letter, Rabbi Babad asks Rabbi Rabinowitz's opinion on a man whose wife renounced her faith and whether he needs a Heiter Meah Rabbanim or can remarry anyhow. On the other side is Rabbi Rabinowitz's letter with his recommendation to obtain the Heiter: "ואם אי אפשר להמציא היתר מאה רבנים אז גם אני מצטרף בשריותא דהא גברא... רק שישליש גט".

The days were those of the end of World War II, which explains why it was difficult to find a hundred rabbis to sign the Heiter.
