Plated silver holder for a Havdalah candle. Eastern Europe, end of 19th/early 20th century
Metal, coated in silver, made with welding and casting work. Square base, four legs, with a round pillar made of a few segments, holding a flat plane (square), with a setting for a candle. Above it are two rims set at intervals to stabilize and hold the candle. On the sides are bells, lions, and eagles. Height: 23cm. Weight: 256g. Generally good condition.
