Lifetime edition, first one in Russian. Heinrich Wölfflin (1864-1945), Swiss art historian. Professor at universities in Basel (since 1893), Berlin (since 1901), Munich (since 1912), Zürich (since 1924). Developed and masterfully applied a consistent methodology for analyzing artistic style, which in Wölfflin's early works served to investigate a `psychology of the era` (`Renaissance and Baroque`, 1888, Russian translation 1913; `Classical Art`, 1899, Russian translation 1912)
The book is in very good condition, there is a gift inscription on the flyleaf. Seal of akademkniga (academic book) and nachsatz paper tear at the joint with the backbone.

韦利夫林-根里赫（1864-1945）-瑞士艺术评论家。巴塞尔（自 1893 年起），柏林（自1901年起），慕尼黑（自1912年起），苏黎世（自1924年起）的大学教授。发展并 巧妙地运用一贯的艺术风格分析方法，在韦利夫林的早期作品中用于研究“时代心理”（“文艺复兴与巴洛克”， 1888年，俄译本1913年；“古典艺术”, 1899, 1912俄译本)。
