Importante e raro par de leões, esculturas góticas em pedra. Dim. aprox.: 80 x 142 x 38 cm.
Important and rare pair of lions, Gothic stone sculptures. Large sculptures, with a perfect figure, represented in an attack position, with a fierce expression, showing off sharp teeth and claws. Pronounced wavy definition in the lush mane, paws and tail. These sculptures are notable for their high quality of execution and are supports for a tomb chest from the Gothic and Manueline era of a Monarch, or a figure of the Nobility, such as D'el Rei Dom Pedro I, Dom João de Mello, Dom João de Albuquerque, among others. Old patina of time, wear, small flaws and faults. Dim. approx.: 80 cm x 142 cm x 38 cm.
