His writing of the 'Ilan' was considered relatively complicated and many times mistakes were made in the order of writing or printing which was first in the year 1951 and then in the year 1884. And after that in the 19th century, for example, we find the letter of the famous Jerusalem Kabbalist Rabbi Menachem Anakhin Heilperin to the Gaon Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe Abd Mosh (who was known by his nickname 'The Righteous One of Mosh)' in which he asks to know "if the holy tree that is printed now, if it is a misleading copy or not Because in my small opinion there are some mistakes in it according to the writings of Ari Zeleh, and when his honor has the tree on a piece of parchment, surely he knows this to be true."

Another reason for the many possible mistakes was that because of the sanctity of the 'Ilan, it almost did not make it to the printing press except for a few editions, but was written in sanctity and purity in ink on parchment as a amulet.
