Vladimir Vetrogonsky. "At noon", 1957, sheet 53.3x68.8 cm, color linocut, signed by the author, published. Series "Factory Weekdays" (1952-1957), consisted of 9 linocuts, circulation of 10 copies each. "Factory everyday life" was first shown at the World Festival of Youth and Students (Moscow, 1957), the author was awarded a gold medal and a first-degree diploma. Works from this series have been repeatedly shown at foreign and Soviet exhibitions, and published in the press. Excellent preservation. Raskolnikov Gallery collection.
Vetrogonsky Vladimir Alexandrovich (1923-2002). People's Artist of Russia.
Graduated from the Repin Institute of Fine Arts (1951), student of A.F. Pakhomov, V.M. Konashevich, K.I. Rudakov. Studied together with M. Trufanov.
Professor of the Institute. I.E. Repin, head of the personal workshop, dean of the faculty, head. Department of Graphics. Permanent participant in domestic and international exhibitions.
Works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in many museums.
