Raymer Society will be auctioning art from the estate of Hal Wright of McPherson, KS. Over 250 lots will be on live and silent auction.
The artworks may be previewed at the Red Barn Studio Museum 212 S. Main St. Lindsborg, KS from January 23th- 25th. Artworks will also be on display day of the auction on January 27th, 2024 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 224 S. Main St. Lindsborg, KS. Doors open at 9:00 AM, Auction begins at 10:00 AM.

Bergers, John Blake (1931-2011) untitled prairie farm, 2009 colored pencil, signed John Bergers in lower right, good condition, image size: 13 x 10 inches. John William Blake Bergers, Lindsborg, was born to the late John William Bergers (Senior) and Helen Blake Bergers, July 14, 1931, in Omaha, NE.John was a professional artist who dedicated his life to painting historical and landscape scenes of the Midwest, especially those described so beautifully in the works of renowned author, Willa Cather.His collection of Cather works can be viewed at the Willa Cather Foundation in Red Cloud, Nebraska. John's deep interest in history led him also to restoration work. He was instrumental in restoring the McPherson Opera House in McPherson, KS, and contributed significantly to the restoration of the Red Cloud Opera House in Red Cloud, NE as well.
