F.J. Kaldenberg Pipe w/ Case
F.J. Kaldenberg Company, New York. Wooden carved pipe depicting the head of a man. The top of the stem is missing. Frederik William Kaldenberg, F. W. Kaldenberg, was an award-winning pipe maker, being one of the first to create elaborately decorated meerschaum pipes in the United States. The case is marked along the interior silk lining with both the stamps for F.J. Kaldenberg and William Birnbaum.
