Charles Schulz (American, 1922-2000). Original four panel "Peanuts" comic strip, the daily strip for Saturday, May 28, 1994. Black ink over pencil on drawing board. Pen signed along the right edge of the last panel. Depicting Snoopy and Woodstock chirping and woofing at each other to various degrees of success.
Sight; height: 6 1/2 in x width: 19 3/4 in. Matted; height: 9 1/2 in x width: 23 in.
Condition: There are no visible tears, creases, losses, or restorations. There are three spots of white-out between each panel along the top and bottom, original to the artistic process. Pencil lines visible throughout, also original to the artistic process. The sheet is affixed to a matboard along the top edge of the verso with two pieces of white duct tape. There is a strip of clear packing tape affixed to the verso covering the United Features Syndicate copyright notice stamp. A few spots of light soiling to the verso that does not affect the recto. The work is not framed.
