Dr. Seuss "Sawfish" Wall Mount Sculpture
Dr. Suess (Theodor Seuss Geisel) (American, 1904-1991). Hand-painted cast resin sculpture titled "Sawfish" depicting a mounted chainsaw-like fish in Seuss' signature style, 2003. Cast from the collection of sculptures produced by Seuss in the 1930s titled "The Collection of Unorthodox Taxidermy." This sculpture signed and numbered Collaborator's Proof 225/850. With a certificate of authenticity and instructions for mounting.
(Including stand) Height: 8 in x width: 27 in x depth: 3 1/2 in.
Condition: The sawfish is in excellent condition with no losses, cracks, or restorations. Light wear to the verso of the wooden mount.
