14k Yellow Gold & Jadeite Brooch
14k yellow gold and jadeite brooch. The jade an attenuated eggplant shape and the gold setting a foliate design of swirling leaves. The gold with a brushed texture and some high polished areas. With a locking safety clasp closure. Marked near the clasp ANIT and other indistinct mark.
Provenance: The Collection of Eu Tong Sen and Jenny Eu; James D. Julia Auctioneers, August 23, 2012, Lot 3623; Private Minnesota Collection.
Length: 2 1/2 in x width: 3/4 in x depth: 1/4 in. Gross weight: 12.2 g.
Condition: Wear and accretions tot he setting, particularly the underside. Pin mechanism working well.
