Afghan Pulwar Sword w/Scabbard, 19th C. or Earlier
Afghan pulwar sword w/scabbard, 19th century or earlier with a pierced disc pommel and half globe, grip with bulbous handle with light embossing and decoration. The quillion downturned in characteristic fashion with a single edged blade grooved with two thin fuller to a rounded tip. Scabbard in black leather with belt hook mounts in iron and decorated to the tip with light enamel. Size 32 3/4" L, blade 26 3/4" L
