A twin handled Campana urn form wine cooler. Made in the Mestizo Baroque Style. It has applied fluted and heavily decorated side handles with acanthus leaves for decoration. There is a cartouche with shield and stylized crown on all four sides of the base. Resting on ornately done Chippendale ball and claw feet. Highly decorated in intricate metalwork called filigree, done in very complex artistic motifs. Also covered in other applied fancy silver decorations. Marked, "Plata" or silver. I believe this was made in Peru, Argintina, or another South American country . This piece was given as a gift or trophy, from an organization, or sector of the goverment of Argintina.
