Page with Torah Novellae about the purity signs of birds in the handwriting of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ulman (1792-1863), who was one of the greatest rabbis of his time and among the leaders of the Hungarian Jewry. Rabbi Shlomo Zalman was the son-in-law of Rabbi Bonem Eger, Rabbi Akiva Eger's brother. Rabbi Ulman supported the Chatam Sofer in his war against the Neolog fraction in Hungary.
