LUFTWAFFE OFFICER'S PEAKED VISOR
Luftwaffe officer's peaked visor cap. A well-worn visor in deep Luftwaffe blue with silver wire piping which is frayed at the front. Black ribbed sides with silver wire cockade and wreath at front, also worn. Sewn-on wire Luftwaffe eagle insignia is affixed above. Wire cords are loose but intact, black vulcan visor is fine. Within, the cap is a bit of a mess, with sweatband torn and missing in some places, and liner heavily stained. The original owner is identified by a paper tag under the diamond-shaped celluloid as 'Alberty Neybrand Elektro-Ingenieur'. No size markings apparent, though measures approx. 8 in. long x 6.75 in. wide. Due to condition, estimated accordingly.
