The author Rabbi Ibn Shem Tov firmly maintained that the philosophical approach opposed the fundamentals of tradition. Ultimately various works were published in defense of the Rambam’s position. Title page and final page with printers stamp displaying a globe surrounded with the various zodiac symbols. Vinograd Ferrara 37. Abraham Ibn Isque press. 116 pages, 20 cm. Fair condition, damp stains throughout, small tear to final page not affecting text. Vintage boards, leather spine variously worn.
