Political Fair 1945 - Comical Poster Against Hitler
Political Fair 1945. An illustrated caricature by Max Radler, mocking Hitler and other Nazi leaders, just a short time after the German surrender in WWII. The poster illustrates the building of the Nazi weekly Der Sturmer, with the inscription: No Access to Jews; A circus named hess; and the Panoptikum of Josef Goebbels. It also mocks Hitler's relationship with Eva Braun. Published by Freitag Verlag, Munich, under Military Goverment Information Control License. Germany, 1946. A similar poster is included in the collection of the Museum of European Cultures in Berlin. Approximately 63X48 cm. Average condition, stains, losses to the margins, creases, adhesive residues, folding marks, tears to the folding marks, writings on the back, wear.
