Response of "Shomrei Misgad Al-Aqsa" (The Guards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque) to Chaim Arlosoroff's Declaration - Translation into Hebrew - 1932 - Rare
In December 1931, a special Arabic booklet was published containing a speech Chaim Arlosoroff gave before journalists regarding Zionism and the Moslem holy places in the Land of Israel. Among others, Arlosoroff claimed that the rumor about a Jewish desire to conquer Al-Aqsa were merely libel and incitement.
A response Arabic booklet was published by "Shomrei Misgad Al-Aqsa" (one of the propaganda bodies of the Mufti Haj Amin). Among others, the booklet presented six items (a Simchat Torah Flag, "Mizrach" and more) that allegedly present a Jewish dream to conquer the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Before us is a typewritten Hebrew translation of the booklet. Handwritten corrections of errors. The translation was edited and printed by the Arabic Bureau of the Jewish Agency on 23.6.1932.
