A letter of recommendation for a yeshiva student named Eliyahu of Serdaheli (Dunaszerdahely, Slovakia).

Visheve: 24th Nissan 1921(?)
Rabbi Hager was a scion of the Kosov and Vizhnitz Chasidic dynasties. His father, Rabbi Yisrael Hager, known as the Ahavas Yisrael (1860-1936) was the third Vizhnitzer rebbe. R. Menachem Mendel was the Rosh Yeshiva of the Vizhnitz Yeshiva before WWI, and from 1921, the chief rabbi and Admor of Visheve (today, Viศeu de Sus Romania).
