Moore adds a lengthy annotation at the base of a short typed letter, stating `I would have written to thank you for your letter before now, except that I have been away first in Germany and then in Holland, in connection with work, I only came home yesterday..´ Trace of a former paperclip to the upper edge, otherwise VG £100-150
