[ TINTIN ] : An excellent set of thirteen original vintage comic magazines of Tintin, being the numbers 1 to 5 and 8 to 15 from 1984. The paperback weekly issue colour comic magazine, 60 pages each, contain a variety of different comics series. The Magazine founded in 1946 was entitled Tintin, and subtitled `The Magazine for the Youth from 7 to 77´. The magazine was a major publication, publishing notable series such as Blake and Mortimer and Alix. The content always included filler material, some of which was of considerable interest to fans, for example alternate versions of pages of the Tintin comic stories, and interviews with authors and artists.
