"Teka" / "Coffee, tea" (English and Hebrew), advertising poster. No name of printer, and no printing locatio, [1939]. Design: David Schneur (signed in the plate).
Café "Teka" was one of the oldest coffee shops on Ben Yehudah Street in Tel-Aviv. This advertising poster, designed by David Shneur (1905-1988), portrays the logo of the coffee shop - a boy with a sack on his back.
Approx. 63.5X88.5 cm. Fair condition. Mounted on thick cardboard. Creases and folding marks. A number of tears. Stains. A strip (4 cm wide) is lacking at the lower part. Framed.
