Landsberg am Lech, Jidisze Cajtung, 1948, 238 pp. First edition in Yiddish; publishers cover and portrait of author illustrated by Benn, yellow/ brown fragile paper, edges and spine chipper to edges because of fragile paper. Benn (Bencjon Rabinowicz) was born in 1905 in Bialystok, Poland and died in 1989 in Paris. He is associated with the School of Paris. His early work was mostly figurative; much of his later work is inspired by the Bible, particularly the Book of Psalms
