Varied collection of approx. 160 medals, pendants and coins issued in memory of different dignitaries and commemorating the operations of Etzel; advertising tokens issued by various commercial companies, and many additional items. Israel, second half of the 20th century. (A number of items are earlier).
In the collection: • 17 medals commemorating dignitaries, among them David Ben Gurion, Shalom Aleichem, Rambam, Chaim Weizmann and Golda Meir. • 14 medals and plaques commemorating Ze'ev Jabotinsky and the operations of Betar and Etzel organizations, including "Captivity Badge", medal commemorating one hundred years to the Jewish Brigade, medal commemorating "Etzel-Lehi" convention, a medal commemorating Ze'ev Jabotinsky and more. • Numerous advertising tokens issued by different companies – transportation companies (such as "Eged", "El-Al"and "Zim"), industry (Such as "Even VeSid" Industies, "Israel Aircraft Industries", "Delek" and more), Food and beverage companies (such as "Vita", "Friedman-Tnuva" winery and more), finance and insurance companies (such as "Bank Igud LeIsrael", "Phenix", "Migdal", various insurance agencies and more). • Tokens issued by culture and education institutes, among them "Photography Services" of the "National University Library", "Chanukah Gelt" [Hanukkah money] token shaped as a 100 Pruta coin, issued by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger School in New York, USA, token of an "International Philatelic Exhibition", tokens of "Harel" high school and more. • Other items.
